We are excited to learn that Vanita Sharma, the Executive Director of Patient Advocacy and Patient Policy for Strongbridge Biopharma will be participating in a panel discussion at Rare Disease Day in Washington DC! The discussion will focus upon issues which face patients (and caregivers), providers and industry partners as we chase the cures for rare diseases, while avoiding the myths, falsehoods, and ignorance surrounding the symptoms. The activities planned for the February 29th event look like a lot of fun!
Vanita (and Strongbridge) continue to be stand-out activists in the fight against the periodic paralyses and have immensely supported the PPA.
